SEWING & DESIGN CLASSES
Fashion Center International offers a sewing basic class on beginner sewing machine set-up, sewing tools and supplies. Students learn how to properly thread upper & lower threading, winding and installing the bobbin, basic stitches, tension adjustment, practice some basic stitches, learn how to read a pattern envelope and layout How to make pattern markings, cutting and proper seam sewing. While completing a basic sewing project.
Bring your own sewing machine.
Time: Day-Evening and weekend appts.

Prior Sewing experience required for this lesson.This class is for participants with basic knowledge of sewing, reading a pattern, sewing straight stitches and threading your machine.Create a professional looking garment using correct cutting, lining and techniques finishing’s for a completed skirt with darts and zipper included.Sew at the next level.
ADVANCE SEWING
Students will select their own pattern,purchase the necessary supplies to make an advance stylea garment following the pattern instruction.Guidance for correct sizing and garment construction will be provided by Instructor.
Students will be shown garment finishings to complete their garment.
Must have basic and Intermediate sewing skils required. This class is greta for designers interested in making their own clothing.

TAILORING
Tailoring Techniques,Learn to create and sew timeless clothing using basic tailoring techniques and finishing’s. From hand sewn hems to proper linings, fit and fabric selection. Please bring in a Classic style jacket for tailoring techniques.

$110 for 2/hour minimum required.
For addional help with your project, fashion assistance is available.
Must have basic sewing skills to reserve room. Please notify in advance for Machine Rental and room availability.services by appt only. Contact us 24hrs in advance. Deposit required for services.
PATTERNMAKING
Basic Fashion Patternmaking Students will learn how to take proper measurements and create a basic flat pattern and custom muslin sample using their basic sewing and drafting skills to create an A-Line skirt, basic pants sloper or both.
Cost: $995
*Class materials and supplies are not included

10hr- Class Sessions for 2hrs

GROUP DEMOS
Reps at Fashion Center International are available for speaking engagements, shows, fashion/sewing and craft workshops, conferences and seminars on fashion,pattern and sewing design for designers,theater and television. Contact us if you are interested in having us speak, be a panel member advisor or consultant at your seminar or workshop .We would be delighted to participate or assist in association with your fashion event.
